Hawaiian Sausage with Peppers and Rice

My husband makes a fabulous sausage, peppers, and onion pasta dish, which you can find here. One day, I was at the grocery store and found some Hawaiian sausage on sale. I picked them up, and decided to take the elements of his recipe and try a variation on it. Thus, I created this dish, which was really delicious and fun.

Ingredients: Hawaiian sausage, tri-color peppers, onion, soy sauce, pineapple, rice

Step 1: Prepare rice according to directions. Cut sausage, peppers, and onions into bite-sized pieces. Step 2: Sauté sausage, peppers, and onions until peppers and onions begin to get tender. Step 3: Add soy sauce, pineapple, and some of the pineapple juice to mixture. Continue to cook until onions are translucent. Step 4: Serve over rice.
