Food. Faith. Nostalgia.
As a little girl, some of my fondest memories were made around long tables in a church fellowship hall. I can remember the smell of fried chicken, the taste of banana pudding, and the sound of conversation about those gathered and those not. Dinner on the grounds, as I grew up calling it, was more than just a church potluck. It was community, family, and part of my faith heritage. I love to cook and have a particular fondness for old recipes. Add in my career as a church musician, and voila - this page was born! When I am not cooking, reminiscing, or making music, I am spending time with my high school sweetheart turned husband, Josh, and our son, Peter.
