My sister has always loved to cook. My mom jokes that such things must skip a generation, because she doesn’t enjoy it like we do and our grandmother did. We got together a few weeks ago and she made this absolutely delicious Carne Asada. If you aren’t familiar, Carne asada is a dish of grilled and sliced beef. It is usually cooked with some searing to impart a charred flavor. Carne asada can be served as a main dish or as an ingredient in other dishes. My brother-in-law is from Honduras, so she began exploring flavors that they would both enjoy and created her own variation that is perfect for a unique twist on the usual grill-out.
